Kawartha Metals Corp. is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team working Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 4pm. The Administrative Assistant supports various departments and roles within the Company including sales, production, and accounting.


Primary Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for completing credit checks on new and current customers.
  • Process payments, chase payment from customers whose accounts are overdue by sending reminder letters and making phone calls.
  • Send monthly statement of account to customers.
  • Complete daily deposit using the remote deposit capture.
  • Help coordinate annual inventory creating product sheets, preparing the inventory binders, and adjusting inventory in the system as required.
  • Back up other administrative staff when on vacation; invoicing, filing, entering payables.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, detail oriented and adaptable
  • Selfstarter and team oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
