Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Analyze project requirements and develop strategies to optimize costs and maximize profitability
• Research and evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing
• Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials
• Create comprehensive project proposals for client review Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents
• Excellent mathematical skills for accurate quantity takeoffs and cost calculations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects. $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
