Munich Re is operating under a hybrid working model, including an average of 1-2 days in office/week with the remaining days working from home. Students are expected to relocate to the city in which they work for the duration of their co-op/internship, so they can fully benefit from the full program integration.
Your job

Responsibilities:

Work term responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:

Work as a member of the audit team under supervision of the Senior Auditor;
Provide support in conducting audits, advisories, and internal control projects;
Participate in audit planning to gain an understanding of the audited area
Perform audit testing and prepare workpapers to support the testing performed and conclusions reached in accordance with appropriate professional and department standards
Assist in providing audit status update meetings to stakeholders and work with the Senior Auditor to draft the audit report
Assist on special projects;
Collaborate with a team of coops/interns across the organization to complete a capstone project, which is presented to senior management and leadership;

Profile:

Excellent communication skills spoken & written Proven capability to multitask and successfully selfmanage multiple priorities and projects of various significance;
Ability to preserve confidentiality of information;
Exhibits solid organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail/accuracy;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.);
Experience with data analytics and tools.

Note:

This opportunity is open to both current students who will be returning to in-class studies upon the completion of the co-op/internship, as well as recent graduates who have obtained their undergraduate degree within the past year.

The NAAH combines audit resources and expertise from Munich Reinsurance America, Inc., American Modern, and HSB and provides reasonable assurance to management that corporate assets and information are safeguarded by independently assessing company operations and providing control-strengthening solutions.

NAAH uses common risk assessment processes, systems, and tools to review the risks at the entities and to determine whether the appropriate controls are in place to mitigate those risks.
