TITLE:
Operational Technician L1


DEPARTMENT:

POSITION REPORTING TO:
Production-Supervisor


SHIFT:
Rotating(Day, Afternoon, Night)


General Description

To perform proper equipment set-up, operation and in-process check, line clearance and change-over to ensure reliable and quality product is packed consistently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operation and maintenance of production equipment and area modifications according to GMP, safety and quality standards.
  • Perform all packaging/process activities.
  • Operate, maintain, and adjust process equipment according to established procedures.
  • Lead the mechanical changeover of equipment according to established procedures.
  • Participate in the preparation and completion of all documentation applicable to production.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Clean equipment, room, and general areas for production use.
  • Write and/or revise SOPs for new equipment and/or processes.
  • Train other team members.
  • Perform related computer tasks: SAP, IMS.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Participate in quality and customer complaint investigations.
  • Lead in process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in process improvements and SMED
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process related issues
  • Work in other Manufacturing/Packaging areas as required.

Qualifications:


  • Experience and Skills_
  • 01 years of production experience
  • Good knowledge of packaging production equipment and understanding of packaging processes.
  • Proven Technical Competency.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Selfmanaged team player, experienced in working with teams in a production environment.
  • Highly motivated, conscientious, innovative, and creative.
  • Computer skills i.e., Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to use and understand automation solutions such as IP21, eBRS, CDISY, Freeweigh, etc.

Education

Required:

  • High School Diploma

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Able to lift 50lb.
  • Able to support shift work.
