TITLE:
Operational Technician L1
DEPARTMENT:
Production
POSITION REPORTING TO:
Production-Supervisor
SHIFT:
Rotating(Day, Afternoon, Night)
General Description
To perform proper equipment set-up, operation and in-process check, line clearance and change-over to ensure reliable and quality product is packed consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of production equipment and area modifications according to GMP, safety and quality standards.
- Perform all packaging/process activities.
- Operate, maintain, and adjust process equipment according to established procedures.
- Lead the mechanical changeover of equipment according to established procedures.
- Participate in the preparation and completion of all documentation applicable to production.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Clean equipment, room, and general areas for production use.
- Write and/or revise SOPs for new equipment and/or processes.
- Train other team members.
- Perform related computer tasks: SAP, IMS.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Participate in quality and customer complaint investigations.
- Lead in process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in process improvements and SMED
- Troubleshoot equipment and process related issues
- Work in other Manufacturing/Packaging areas as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience and Skills_
- 01 years of production experience
- Good knowledge of packaging production equipment and understanding of packaging processes.
- Proven Technical Competency.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Selfmanaged team player, experienced in working with teams in a production environment.
- Highly motivated, conscientious, innovative, and creative.
- Computer skills i.e., Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to use and understand automation solutions such as IP21, eBRS, CDISY, Freeweigh, etc.
Education
Required:
- High School Diploma
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to lift 50lb.
- Able to support shift work.
