This is a full-time on-site Family Law Lawyer role located in Oakville, ON at Hasso Law.

As a Family Law Lawyer, you will be responsible for representing clients in family law matters, including custody, support, and divorce.

You will work directly with clients, draft legal documents, and attend court hearings and mediations.

Qualifications:

Law degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Minimum of 2 years of court experience as a family lawyer in an Ontario Family Law firm
Excellent analytical, drafting, and research skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds

Annual salary:
$90, , Salary is negotiable based on experience.

You must have a minimum of 2 years of court experience as a family lawyer in an Ontario Family Law firm.
Work Location: In person

Family Lawyer Duties:
Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence matters.

Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
Prepare legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law.
Attend court hearings and litigate cases on behalf of clients.
Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes between parties.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as counselors and social workers, to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar association and in good standing.
Proven experience practicing family law.
Strong knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
