    Job Title: Industrial Engineer

    Location: Mississauga-Onsite

    Duration: 6 Months Contract

    Job Description:

    As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, coordination, management, and implementation of industrial projects. We are seeking candidates across multiple levels of experience to join our dynamic team. From enhancing productivity to ensuring compliance with regulations, the Industrial Engineer will be integral in driving operational excellence and fostering innovation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Process Optimization:
    • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Develop and implement strategies to streamline production workflows and reduce waste.
    • Utilize time and motion studies, statistical analysis, and other engineering techniques to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
    Workplace Design and Layout:
    • Design and optimize facility layouts to improve workflow and maximize space utilization.
    • Collaborate with teams to ensure ergonomic considerations and safety standards are integrated into the workplace design.
    Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect and analyze data related to production metrics, quality, and efficiency.
    • Generate reports and present findings to management, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
    Quality Control:
    • Implement quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address areas for improvement in product quality and consistency.
    Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Evaluate and optimize supply chain processes to improve inventory management, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
    Project Management:
    • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects.
    • Develop project plans, set milestones, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
    Continuous Improvement:
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency throughout the organization.
    • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for implementation.
    Qualifications:
    • 5-7 years of experience in process or industrial projects.
    • Familiarity with project management, process design, and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage large projects and budgets.
    • University Degree in Engineering (with a major supporting industrial or manufacturing engineering).
