Open to:


Open to the general public to staff an indeterminate full-time position in the office of the Honourable Senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu.

Please note that "indeterminate" refers to an employment contract with no specified end date.


Prerequisites:


  • Postsecondary education in administration or a combination of education, and related work experience;
  • Experience providing administrative support in an office environment offering services such as; drafting a variety of documents, preparing briefing materials, formatting documents/event invitations, scheduling meetings, organizing events, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing digital expense claims and managing filing systems;
  • Significant experience and aptitude working with all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.);
  • Fully proficient in all MS Office products;
  • Excellent ability to manage media communications from the Senator's office, whether by writing press releases, preparing for interviews or media articles;
  • Experience dealing with administrators, senior officials and/or parliamentarians;
  • Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to creatively manage competing priorities and short timelines;
  • Excellent ability to communicate in both official languages, in writing and on social media, with the ability to work independently and build relationships across the organization.
