  • In Disputes By Phone you will serve customers who contact us regarding errors or to start a dispute. You will use reports to review cases to ensure accurate handling of customer inquiries and be involved in all stages of the dispute cycle including initiation and evidence gathering, merchant contact, and chargeback. You will take inbound calls and initiate dispute claims and provide updates if the member calls on an existing dispute. You will maintain standards and quality and protect federal regulated rights regarding billing errors.

    What will you be doing?
  • Actively managing a caseload of 100+ cases
  • Maintaining departmental standards in regards to production, quality, and aging
  • Protecting the customer's federal regulated consumer rights regarding billing error inquiries
  • Process chargeback, cardholder adjustments, and retrieval requests via desktop tools
  • Determining chargeback rights available in accordance with association regulations
  • Maintaining a quiet, secure area without the presence of family or cohabitants, free of distractions

What we're looking for:


  • One year of experience within banking or callcenter
  • Over one year of analytical skills
  • Over one year of proficient PC skills
  • Over one year of Fraud or Chargeback Experience

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • One or more years of disputes or chargeback experience preferred
  • Knowledge of credit card processing
  • Knowledge of association (MasterCard/Visa/AMEX) chargeback regulations
  • Knowledge of Reg Z and Reg E
