Plant Operator / 4th Class Power Engineer

Fort Saint John, BCOur customer, a major oil and gas company is looking for a Plant Operator who also holds their 4th Class Power Engineering to join their busy team at their facility located 40 mins outside of Fort Saint John. This is a local position to the Fort Saint John area; camp or accommodations are not provided. Shift schedule will be 12 hour days and nights; 5 days on / 4 days off / 5 nights on/ 5 days off / 4 days on / 5 days off.

5+ years of previous operating experience as a Production Operator in both plant or field environments

Must be a motivated, strong team player with proven leadership skills and high safety standards

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Proven computer skills in Outlook, Word and Excel and to be comfortable in the operation of distributed control Scada systems

Have the ability to shift priorities and focus, and to maintain schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Valid Class 5 Drivers License (A driver's abstract is required) and current certification in H2S Alive and First Aid.
