• L'emploi se déroule à Mirabel avec le groupe de développement des systèmes de contrôle de vol. L'objectif de ce groupe est la conception, le développement et l'intégration des systèmes de contrôle de vol pour le programme A220 (Système FBW et High Lift). Vous rapporterez au chef de section responsable du développement des systèmes de contrôle de vol.

Dans votre rôle, vous aurez à:

• Participer au développement de nouveau systèmes de contrôle de vol pour le A220, plus spécifiquement sur le développement de logique de contrôle et de surveillance du système de contrôle de vol primaire.
• Déterminer les exigences niveau système et niveau fonctionnel pour rencontrer les objectifs techniques du programme
• Mener la validation de fonctions sous votre responsabilité par revue de design, modélisation via Matlab / Simulink et tests sur différents niveaux de bancs d'essais (desktop, simulateur, banc d'essais niveau système).
• Mener des enquêtes techniques, analyser et développer des solutions,
• Participer au maintien des interfaces du système avec les autres systèmes de l'avion
• Mener des études comparatives (trade studies)
• Travailler avec d'autres fonctions et disciplines du programme pour fournir et obtenir l'information requise pour assurer la progression des projets de développement et certification

Qualifications

En tant que candidat idéal,

• Vous êtes proactif et avez un intérêt dans l'industrie aérospatiale et l'intégration de système.
• Vous êtes étudiant en génie mécanique, génie électrique ou génie aérospatial (ou l'équivalent) dans une université reconnue.
• Vous avez une expérience en simulation, avec le logiciel Matlab et Simulink.
• Vous possédez une bonne connaissance des systèmes de contrôle de vol et/ou de ses composantes. (un atout)
• Vous avez de bonnes compétences d'organisation et de planification.
• Vous avez une connaissance des processus de développement basés sur des modèles (MBSE) (un atout)
• Vous possédez d'excellentes habiletés de communication (écrite et orale) en français et en anglais
• Vous avez la capacité à travailler dans un environnement d'équipe, mais aussi de manière individuelle (autonomie) et vous êtes capable de produire des résultats de qualité sous la pression.
• Le poste requiert la capacité d'obtenir l'autorisation d'accès aux documents sujets aux contrôle des exportations (Export Control Clearance)

• This position will be in our Mirabel site. You will be part of the flight control systems (FBW & high lift) development engineering team. This team is responsible to develop, integrate and support different projects related to the primary flight control and high lift systems. You will report to the section chief responsible for aircraft control development activities.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Participate in the development of a new flight control system for the A220, more specifically for the development of control and monitoring logics for primary flight control system.
• Determine system-level and function-level requirements to fulfill aircraft technical requirements and objectives.
• Perform validation of functions under your area of responsibility by design review, simulation & modeling via Matlab / Simulink and testing on various test rigs (desktop, system level rig, simulator, iron bird)
• Conduct technical investigations, analyze and develop simple solutions
• Participate to maintain the interface defined and agreed with the other aircraft systems
• Participate in flight control system or component architecture definition
• Perform trade studies to optimize the design solution
• Coordinate with various Integrated Product Teams/Suppliers, work with all departments for design, validation and verification, testing and certification, support to certification authorities

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You are proactive and have an interest in the aerospace industry and systems integration.
• You hold a student in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent in a recognized University.
• You have experience in simulation with Matlab software and Simulink.
• You have a good knowledge of flight control systems and/or its components. (An advantage)
• You have knowledge of model based development engineering (MBSE) (considered as an asset)
• You have strong communication skills in French and English (written and spoken).
• You have good organizational & planning skills.
• You are a team player, but you are also able to work individually (autonomy). You can deliver quality even under a challenging environment.
• The position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for export controlled documents
