Job Overview:

As the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies specifically formulated to anticipate business and client needs and build awareness about BEST's services while leading and inspiring a team.


Job Location:
Coquitlam, BC


Wage Range:
$75,000 - $85,000/yearly


Contract Length:18-month contract (maternity leave) with the possibility of extension.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage the marketing and communications department from top to bottom;
  • Manage the marketing budget and meticulously allocate resources to initiatives and campaigns;
  • Develop and mentor the marketing team;
  • Prepare the content and design layout of proposals in accordance with the clients' requirements;
  • Oversee PPC ads (Google Ads) and landing page creation with A/B tests (SalesForce
  • Pardot) for the Maintenance division to generate qualified leads and brand awareness;
  • Develop and manage strategy for nurturing campaigns using segmented lists;
  • Review and curate the monthly social calendar content, ensuring organic results and delivering information relevant to BEST's dedication to safety and sustainability, innovative practices, certifications, awards, and unique People & Culture programs;
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual reports to senior management;
  • Measure and report the performance of all social media ads and organic posts, following the marketing KPIs;
  • Support planning and production of creative content such as photoshoots, video production, and web development;
  • Coordinate marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and production departments;
  • Other duties as required.

Skills Required:


  • Ability to read, review, analyze, and interpret documents;
  • Proficiency with the Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, video editing tools and website or page builders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong leadership ability;
  • Proven experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Pardot, HubSpot, Mailchimp, and similar. Highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Exceptional time management skills with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Intrinsic ability to effectively analyze, prioritize, and execute departmental goals.

Education & Experience:


  • Postsecondary degree specializing in Marketing or other related fields;
  • 510 years' work experience in a similar role;
  • Acceptable security and criminal record check.
