Job Description:

The Supervisor, Brand Advocate role is an exciting role within The Home Depot Canada eCommerce team. This role is within our ever-growing Brand Advocate program. This high impact and important role is responsible for helping us continue to develop and support the program.

The supervisor is accountable for managing, mentoring, and leading a team of 6-7 brand advocate analysts and a specific portfolio within Home Depot's product assortment.

The supervisor's team of analysts directly manage vendor accounts and provide strategic insights, data analytics and reporting, deep dive analysis projects, content enrichment projects and provide day-day operational support for each of their vendors.

The Supervisor core focus is to support each analyst on a one-to-one level, ensure projects are aligned and on-track, develop and nurture strong relationships with internal and external partners, executing against quarterly action plans, generating KPI impact reports, and effectively communicating successes/progress within each account within their portfolio of business.

This role has a high impact to the Brand Advocate program and The Home Depot's eCommerce business.


Core responsibilities:
50% Associate Development and Growth

  • Lead, direct and support a team of associates
  • Influence associates communicate effectively and drive engagement across the team
  • Mentor, support and develop the Analysts and Sr. Analysts
  • Optimize diverse talent across the team attract top talent, interview, and hire associates
  • Meet with direct reports biweekly and provide ongoing support and leadership
  • Influence the team, drive engagement, and provide the team with vision and purpose
  • Manage conflict and collaborate with team to find solutions
  • Deliver BA updates to broader merchant organization on progress and performance of the business
  • Evaluate direct reports ongoing and complete midyear/yearend reviews
40% Supplier Portfolio Management

  • Ownership of the portfolio of suppliers and ensure success
  • Cultivate and maintain strong supplier and crossfunctional partner relationships


  • Ensure accountability

  • Analysts execution of the program for their assigned vendors
  • Plan and align with cross functional teams to ensure alignment (merch, marketing, etc.)
  • Review, approve and manage vendor goal trackers, project plans, reporting, presentations and calls ensuring the analysts are on track
  • Attend vendor biweekly, midyear and yearend business reviews
  • Develop reporting and track KPI's for the portfolio of business present report and findings to merchant teams and other internal Home Depot teams
  • Manage the supplier program contracts through life cycle along with the manager
10% Program Development

  • Develop new services, analysis, and tools for the brand advocate program
  • Continually seek to improve and advance the program
  • Improve team management and introduce new, improved processes and tools
  • Develop and launch training programs for new associates and career development
  • Ensure associates are aligned to the company and program vision
  • Present the program and overview to new vendors alongside the manager
  • Provide ongoing support across the entire team
