Iracore International - Canada Inc is a rubber lining facility located in Nisku, Alberta. It is a division of Iracore International that has base operations in Hibbing, Minnesota. Our manufacturing operations provide rubber lined and cast urethane parts into mining, construction, and oil industries.

The Boiler Operator & Mechanical Maintenance person for the Niksu shop is responsible for operating the plant process boilers and building heating boilers that support the rubber lining process.

The primary responsibilities of this role include operations and preventive maintenance, water treatment, minor pipe repairs to the boiler and other plant equipment.

Welding experience and maintenance skills are beneficial.

All applicants must be licensed as a minimum 4th Class Power Engineer or equivalent training in the trade of steam fitting/pipefitting.

The desired individual would also have basic maintenance responsibilities for the shop.

The job also includes performing maintenance to stationary equipment such as grit blast pots, dust collector equipment, air systems, hand tools and other plant items.

The Boiler Operator will to be trained to operator the curing autoclave.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high and lowpressure boilers
• Perform compression and safety tests
• Water sampling and treatment
• Preventative maintenance
• Perform minor pipe repairs
• Replace worn parts, including valves and filters.
• Ability to troubleshoot compressed air systems would be an asset.

Boiler Operator Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Completion of an apprenticeship or training program in steam fitting.
• Boiler Operator license or 4th class power engineering certification
• Welding experience a plus as well as good mechanical aptitude
• Driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay:
$32.00-$40.00 per hour
