Description

ICON is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Sports and Events, to oversee the production and installation of static graphic and digital signage installations, primarily at Scotiabank Arena.

All Things Visual business mandate. You must be highly adaptive to the changes that occur in the digital signage/integrated solutions media industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

Work with our sales and customer service staff in Markham
Meet with clients and installers to review new potential projects, collect measurements and photographs, create project summaries for sales staff to use for cost estimate purposes
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Once new projects are approved, work with ICON sales, customer service and installation groups, as well as the client to establish project installation/completion dates, workback schedule
Liaise directly with ICON logistics, internal and external installation teams to organize delivery and installation of projects
Onsite supervision for all installations, serving as a communication conduit between the client and the install team(s) and possibly coordinating multiple install teams at same site
Be available to project manage overnight installations on occasion
Maintain the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
Work from home primarily and in the Manhattan office from time to time

Additional Responsibilities:

Work with third parties/vendors when required for the execution of multiple projects
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Help manage changes to the project scope
Report and escalate to management as needed
Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project plans for larger projects
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients, as well as other staff members
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
Intra-USA travel for projects in other US cities
Perform other related duties as assigned

Project Manager Requirements:

Proven work experience in project management (35yrs min. preferred), with focus on delivery and precision
Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills, including written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with project management software tools
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance
Knowledge in the field of printing/graphics/signage is a plus
Knowledge in the field of digital signage is a plus
Must have a clean background check
