Broda Group (BGLP) is a Western Canada industry leader with over 50 years experience in mining, oil & gas, heavy civil infrastructure, environmental and general earthmoving.

We are seeking a qualified Earthworks Supervisor for the Interchange Project at Leduc, Alberta. Reporting to the Area General Manager and Operations Manager, the Superintendent will be responsible for all onsite activities.

Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations:

Is a proficient leader with the ability and objective to set a positive work environment by motivating peers and crew effectively.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings
Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders (written & verbal)
Ability to plan and schedule work to BGLP standards
Ensures proficient sitespecific safety and environmental orientation and training
Maintains and effectively implements BGLP's standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)
Ensures that the job site is free of hazards and or dangerous conditions prior to the commencement of any work
Maintains all required documentation with respect to personnel and equipment maintenance
Submits daily and weekly activity and status reports to management
Monitors crew and equipment productivity and utilization to optimize results
Monitors planned production and cost targets to optimize results
Ensures that Employees are well trained for assigned duties and for maintenance of effective records
Sets a personal example to promote a safe and respectful work environment
Conduct daily inspections of the workplace
Conduct safety meetings (weekly/ daily toolboxes)
Provides accurate and timely reporting (daily & weekly)
