    JOB OVERVIEW

    A Fabricator is responsible for reading & understanding schematics and blueprints and fabricating metal parts and structures per the customer request. As a Fabricator you are a key point in assisting the team. We are looking to add someone to our team who is brings maturity, years of expertise, willingness to learn, detail-orientated, takes pride in producing high quality standard, and is a team player. It is crucial that the Fabricator promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    § Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed

    § Quality control

    § CWB welding tickets compliance

    § Layout (fitting)

    § Use of brake, shear, Iron Worker and saw

    § Welding to CWB standards

    § Fabrication of various jobs/projects

    § Able to read blueprints/drawing/sketches

    § Knowledge of GMP guidelines and practices

    § Conduct quality control checks

    § Accurate and timely completion of all daily paperwork

    § Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship

    § In accordance with company policy/ESA; overtime, work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company

    § All other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    § Completion of High School or equivalent

    § Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent

    § Previous 8-10 years of fabrication experience

    § MIG welding experience along with CWB tickets

    § You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers

    § You operate with a team spirit, not with ego; you want everyone, including yourself, to do their best work; you see your success as dependent on the success of the team

    § You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues

    § You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately

    § You are a straight shooter who gets to the point and can clearly communicate in both oral and written form
