Description
We are looking for a service & warranty coordinator to join our team. This position requires a keen attention to detail with a good understanding of agriculture/construction equipment warranty and service processes.You will also be the first point of contact with customers when bringing in their vehicle/equipment for servicing or repair.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare/maintain work orders to completion
- Generate reports as required
- Schedule appointments/service calls
- Create warranty quotes for approval, including photos if requested
- Submit paperwork to appropriate warranty provider, followup as required
- Coordinate travel arrangements for service technician calls
- Respond to customer & service technician questions/requests
- Work with parts department to order required inventory based on initial inspection of equipment/vehicles
- Ensure safety procedures are being followed in shop, offices & yard
- Cover parts desk if staff is away/unavailable and assist with walkin customer orders/phone calls as needed
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in heavy duty equipment/truck/trailer industry with technical and product knowledge
- Experience with Parts department
- Computer skills using Outlook, Excel, Word & Quikbooks
- Customer service experience
- Attention to detail, strong problem solving
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Previous warranty claims submissions
- Forklift experience an asset (willing to train)
- Reliable vehicle, no public transportation available
