As an Assistant Team Leader - Provider Relations in the Provider Relations team, you'll be responsible for assisting the team leader in generating revenues, maximizing savings, addressing team member questions, providing coaching and training, monitoring team performance as well as identifying and implementing process improvements.

Your role also includes providing back up support to the team leader and working on assigned special projects.


What does your typical day look like?

  • Provide daily support to team members through availability on the floor;
  • Act as back up to Team Leader when absent or unavailable;
  • Participate in the development of team members through coaching and training;
  • Participate in the monitoring of performance metrics to ensure appropriate productivity, quality and service levels;
  • Investigate any potential breakdown in processes and escalate issues in a timely fashion;
  • Provide regular and timely feedback to management on trends and actions taken or to be taken;
  • Take on assigned special projects and assignment.

What Skills and training do you need?:

  • College Diploma or equivalent;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • 35 years experiences working in a customer service or insurance/financial services;
  • Leadership experience is an asset.
