    Our client is seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a 4th Class Power Engineer, you will play a vital role in the operation and maintenance of the facility's power systems. What's in it for You?
    • Permanent, Full time work in a cutting edge facility
    Compensation & Hours:
    • The rate of pay will be $35-$45 / hour (negotiable with experience)
    • Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
    Position Summary:
    • Monitoring and operating equipment such as boilers, generators, turbines, pumps, and compressors to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
    • Conducting routine inspections, tests, and maintenance procedures to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.
    • Responding promptly to equipment alarms and taking appropriate actions to address any issues or malfunctions.
    • Recording and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to equipment operation, maintenance, and incidents.
    • Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
    • Participating in training programs and staying updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and safety protocols.
    • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and protocols to promote a safe and productive work environment.
    • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing ideas for enhancing operational efficiency and reliability.
    Required Qualifications:
    • MUST have a valid 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate in Alberta.
    • Previous experience in operating and maintaining power generation equipment preferred.
    • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and climbing.
