- Permanent, Full time work in a cutting edge facility
- The rate of pay will be $35-$45 / hour (negotiable with experience)
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Monitoring and operating equipment such as boilers, generators, turbines, pumps, and compressors to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conducting routine inspections, tests, and maintenance procedures to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Responding promptly to equipment alarms and taking appropriate actions to address any issues or malfunctions.
- Recording and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to equipment operation, maintenance, and incidents.
- Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
- Participating in training programs and staying updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and safety protocols.
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and protocols to promote a safe and productive work environment.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing ideas for enhancing operational efficiency and reliability.
- MUST have a valid 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate in Alberta.
- Previous experience in operating and maintaining power generation equipment preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility.
