Experienced Architect – Modular Workforce Housing | Feasibility & Site Planning (500+ Persons)

Job description
We are seeking an expert Architect with hands-on experience in feasibility studies, site planning, and modular construction for large-scale workforce accommodation projects.
You will play a key role in evaluating site viability and planning modular unit layouts designed to house workforces of 500 or more persons.
This is a full-time engagement suited to a seasoned professional who understands the unique demands of modular workforce villages from concept through to delivery.
ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed feasibility studies for proposed workforce accommodation sites, including land assessment, zoning analysis, utility availability, and regulatory compliance
Develop comprehensive site plans for large-scale modular workforce villages (500+ occupants)
Design efficient site layouts incorporating modular units for sleeping quarters, dining, recreation, and support facilities
Coordinate with modular unit suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design compatibility
Produce feasibility reports, concept drawings, and planning documentation for stakeholder review
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in architecture
Proven experience conducting feasibility studies and site planning for large-scale projects
Demonstrated expertise in modular and prefabricated construction methods
Experience with workforce accommodation or similar large-occupancy developments (500+ persons)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent design tools
Strong understanding of zoning laws, building codes, and planning regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder presentations
Nice to Have
Experience working on remote or industrial site projects (mining, oil & gas, construction)
Familiarity with LEED, BREEAM, or other sustainability frameworks
Experience working across multiple countries or jurisdictions
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
