Job description:

We are looking for a customer service-orientated individual with automotive or truck service advisor experience. Preference will be those who have automotive or truck dealer experience. Able to do service scheduling, invoicing, customer interaction and warranty recovery.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Contact service technicians to determine when the job can be completed.
  • Communicate with the fleet manager as to what is happening with the equipment repairs and load status.
  • Authorize necessary repairs on the road considering both safety and cost.
  • Create purchase orders and provide necessary information for audit purposes.
  • Administrate fleet database by completing fleet assistance sheets and entering data into the computer.
  • Contact repair shops to determine when the equipment will be completed.
  • Manage breakdown information by completing necessary paperwork and/or reports.
  • Communicate breakdown information to proper supervisors if necessary.
  • Create and maintain repair order file.
  • Direct all accidentrelated information to Liability& warranty claims.
  • Monitor the retrieval of warranty parts to be returned to DEPENDABLE for warranty repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Daily interactions with mechanics, vendors, service managers and all levels of Management.


ABILITIES/SKILLS DESIRED:


  • Knowledge in automotive/ heavy truck maintenance.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
