GeoVerra is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our talented and collaborative Ontario Geomatics team based in Mississauga, ON.

The purpose of this role is to assist Project Managers successfully secure projects and execute project deliverables. Our new Project Coordinator will need to be highly organized and a strong communicator, both written and verbally.


What you will do**:


  • Assist Project Manager by completing administrative duties such as data collection, data sorting, and organizing the data.
  • Draft and send correspondence for the project manager, may include sending correspondence on behalf of the project managers.
  • Recording all the project items like milestones, labor, costs, challenges and how they were resolved, and other critical information to be used by the project manager and decision makers.
  • Coordinate meetings and presentations for the project manager, clients and operational teams.
  • Attend meetings and record meeting minutes, for the project manager, clients and operational teams and ensure the meeting is properly documented.
  • Supervising projects in progress and preparing and monitoring schedules to help the project manager keep the project on time and on budget.
  • Schedule presentations for the project manager and other project stakeholders.

What you will bring:


  • 2+ years of previous in Project Management or a related field.
  • Degree or diploma in Project Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation(s) considered an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams etc.).
  • Strong time management, organizational, analytical skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Professional communications skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Problemsolving and negotiating skills.
  • Safety first mindset and continuously contributing to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Experience in the Geomatics and Surveying industry is considered an asset.
