GeoVerra is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our talented and collaborative Ontario Geomatics team based in Mississauga, ON.
What you will do**:
- Assist Project Manager by completing administrative duties such as data collection, data sorting, and organizing the data.
- Draft and send correspondence for the project manager, may include sending correspondence on behalf of the project managers.
- Recording all the project items like milestones, labor, costs, challenges and how they were resolved, and other critical information to be used by the project manager and decision makers.
- Coordinate meetings and presentations for the project manager, clients and operational teams.
- Attend meetings and record meeting minutes, for the project manager, clients and operational teams and ensure the meeting is properly documented.
- Supervising projects in progress and preparing and monitoring schedules to help the project manager keep the project on time and on budget.
- Schedule presentations for the project manager and other project stakeholders.
What you will bring:
- 2+ years of previous in Project Management or a related field.
- Degree or diploma in Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation(s) considered an asset.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams etc.).
- Strong time management, organizational, analytical skills and the ability to multitask.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Selfmotivated and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Professional communications skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Problemsolving and negotiating skills.
- Safety first mindset and continuously contributing to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
- Experience in the Geomatics and Surveying industry is considered an asset.
