Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to grow their career for an advanced material handling position willing to take on inventory control working with a team to organize and supply material to production and meet shipping needs. This role will involve working across multiple teams within the organization as well as physically handling materials throughout the shop.

Role Responsibilities:


  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, Materials Receipt/ Movement, Production Order, Delivery & PGI. (Training Supplied)**
  • Ensures delivered materials are made available to production in a timely and orderly manner to not delay project execution.

- Reviews shipping plan for projects in conjunction with Supervisors and Logistics team. Ensures on time execution of delivery, packing slip and shipment. Ensures appropriate measures are taken to prevent compliance misses and incorrect shipments.

- Reviews orders and implements schedules

- Communicates needs regarding current and projected workload and manpower requirements.

- Initiate & Advocate/ Driver of lean ideas initiatives within the work area. Drive Continuous improvement.

Approximately 60-80% of time will be spent performing Materials Handling and Warehousing requirements associated with area job description, and the remaining time spent identifying/resolving issues. Available to work overtime on weekends as needed.

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of warehousing practices and area specific equipment

Able to lift 40 lbs and ability to drive a lift tuck

Pay:
$24.00-$27.00 per hour
