- Efficiently assess, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy-duty equipment
- Safely and efficiently use secondary materials and equipment
- Utilize hand and power tools, related instruments, secondary equipment, and computer systems
- Thoroughly document machine information, actions taken, and time spent on work orders
- Continuously evaluate service task risks to ensure safe and high-standard work
- Document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis using computer applications and information systems
- Locate and order parts using parts catalogues
- Perform road tests on equipment and check attachment operation as needed
- Effective communication and collaboration with customers, service team, and branch personnel
- Ability to handle physical requirements such as climbing, overhead lifting, prolonged standing, sensory processing, and fine motor control
- Capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Preferably, previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment
- Certification as a Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent
- Dedication to customer service and excellence
