Overview:
We are seeking skilled Ironworkers to join our team.
As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the installation and construction of structural steel components.
This is a physically demanding role that requires experience with power tools, welding, and the ability to read blueprints.Duties:
- Install and assemble structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate power tools and equipment such as welding machines, forklifts, calipers, and press brake machines
- Fabricate and install metal decking, handrails, stairs, and other structural elements
- Perform welding tasks to join steel components together
- Assist with rigging and hoisting operations
Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment commonly used in ironworking
- Strong welding skills with the ability to perform various types of welds
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Knowledge of ductwork installation and fabrication techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for lifting heavy loads
- Proficient in using hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
Job Type:
Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay:
$24.98-$48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Welding: 5 years (preferred)
