Tier One CPA Family Office is an Accounting and financial investment firm for businesses and corporations throughout Stoney Creek and the surrounding areas with over 500 corporate clients.

For more than two decades Tier One CPA has been helping businesses succeed and plan for the financial future.

We are currently preparing for income tax season and seeking a Contract Income Tax Preparer to join the team for a 2-month period.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare personal tax returns (T1's) for individuals and small businesses by reviewing tax documents and financial records, and processing simple to complex income tax returns using our professional software system (TaxPrep)
• Compute taxes owed and ensuring compliance with government standards.
• Communicate with clients to ensure complete, clear and accurate information is gathered, and with confidence.
• Collaborate with other income tax preparers and administrative staff within the office to work toward an efficient and effective workflow.
• Ensure client confidentiality and privacy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience preparing personal tax returns is required for this position.
• Previous public accounting firm experience
• Experience with TaxPrep or other accounting and tax software

SCHEDULE/HOURS OF WORK:

• Monday to Friday 8:30am5:30pm
• Saturdays 9am3pm
• Overtime as required.
