DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Brand Manager - RTD & Beyond Beer, the Assistant Brand Manager develops and supports the execution of above the line (ATL) or national activities on the assigned brands within the assigned portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support the execution of ATL or national activities such as: promotions, product introductions, marketing activities, product development, social media content, public relation programs, packaging development, POS.
- Collaborate with all TMM's and BAM's in the development and execution of below the line (BTL) key activities.
- Collaborate with agency partners on the development and execution of brand activation & events.
- Monitors competitive brands ATL and promotional activities.
- Support brand performance analysis.
- Monitor, maintain and refresh social media content and websites.
- Execute activities within budgets, on time and with excellence.
- Occasionally lead special projects for the assigned brands.
- Populate and maintain brand information and programs on the intranet in a timely fashion.
- Track and manage budget.
- Lead & manage the Campus Ambassador program
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement and MUDA reduction practices.
- Maintain compliance with all Canadian advertising law, standards, and liquor board regulations.
- Provide support on miscellaneous marketing projects from time to time on an as needed basis
Requirements:
- Postsecondary education in marketing or related business field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role within a consumer packaged goods environment
- Experience managing digital and social media programs an asset
- Proven ability to work effectively on multiple crossfunctional teams
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Excellent communications skills.
- Strong computer skills, including ability to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Bilingual (in English and French) considered an asset
- Acceptable criminal background check
- Ability to demonstrate behaviors compatible with the organization
