WAGES:

Department of Education wage scale is dependent on the level of Early Childhood Education obtained and years of experience. $ 19.67-$ 27.63


REQUIERMENTS:


  • ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 classifications
  • Clear Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
  • Level C.

Transportation: The Upper Tantallon & East Hants locations are NOT on a transit route.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Understands early childhood development and able to provide an enriching program to enhance young children's learning.
  • Plan and facilitate a child lead, playbased curriculum; drawing from the Nova Scotia Childcare Curriculum Framework.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with center administration, coworkers, families and other participating members and partners.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and wellbeing of children.

Friends for Life is not registered with any residency programs, such as AIP or NSNP, at this time

Friends for Life currently has 7 locations serving Halifax, Dartmouth, Beaverbank, Tantallon, Hatchet Lake, East Hants, and Truro.

Salary:
$19.67-$27.63 per hour
