Position Summary:


The Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Parts & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for GSE inventory, parts ordering, warehousing, shipping & receiving.

They are critical to the GSE operation in terms of ensuring equipment parts are stocked effectively and are available when required.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Inventory receiving and shipping of all parts and material as required, including pickup and delivery of supplies for internal bases
  • Prepare and track Ground Service Equipment parts and requests from offsite mechanics
  • Work with relative vendors to fill work orders with new and/or repaired parts
  • Create PO's, receive, label, and put away stock as parts are received
  • Review stock levels to ensure continuity of supplies for operational requirements
  • Ensure effective organization of all GSE parts stock and storage
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels while ensuring inventory availability and accuracy
  • Proactively follow up on back orders, short shipments, and delayed shipments
  • Support the facilitation of the deice program
  • Assist with the purchasing of new equipment where required
  • Perform cost analysis and cost reduction activities
  • Work with Accounts Payable to resolve any invoice discrepancies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Previous experience & knowledge in warehousing, receiving and inventory control considered an asset
  • Previous forklift operation considered an asset
  • Demonstrated organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • Experience as a buyer or purchaser of Auto / Industrial parts sales or related inventory considered an asset
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of maintenance tracking software considered an asset
  • Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Regular travel will be required
- approximately 25%

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an enhanced security clearance
  • Preference given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries
  • Inuktitut language considered an asset

Salary:
$40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
