    Responsibilities:

  • Help drive department Workforce Planning discussions including the execution of talent acquisition strategies needed to support current and future business requirements aligned with organizational DIB priorities.
  • Help drive the organizational talent management review process including facilitating the process for career path and succession planning discussions resulting in tangible action plans.
  • Help lead and champion the organization's performance mgmt., professional development, and recognition programs, including creating processes, and toolkits, with an additional focus on researching, curating, and ensuring the delivery of targeted training for Faculty and Leaders.
  • Provide insights to the HR team during program development and will take a lead role in the communication and implementation planning with key stakeholders to integrate changes across departments and the organization.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with leadership team, staff and decision makers through the development of in-depth knowledge of the business.
  • Help with the implementation of the People & Culture Strategic Plan by participating in the design, build, execution, and assessment of the individual HR Initiatives focused on driving organizational outcomes.
  • Execute HR administration tasks, including but not limited to tracker management, survey management, and meeting minute documentation, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of these processes.
  • The successful candidate must have:

  • Post-secondary education and diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management
  • CHRP and membership in good standing with the HRPA
  • Minimum 5 years of progress HR experience
  • Strong Project Mgmt. skills (Agile or Waterfall)
  • Has excellent proficiency with computers and databases including the HRIS and payroll systems
  • Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Excellent knowledge of current employment law and best practices
  • Has strong research, analysis, planning, and organization skills with strong attention to detail
  • Displays a high degree of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Professional judgment, superior time management and problem-solving ability
