- Hiring, training, motivating, and managing a team of Account Managers.
- Develop, own, meet, and exceed annual sales targets.
- Create and review individual sales plans.
- Assisting the Director of Sales with pipeline reviews and overseeing company sales targets.
- Strategize to close opportunities.
- Accompany Account Managers in the field on sales calls aiding in the effective communication of our value proposition and closing the sale.
- Work with procurement, customer service, marketing, and operations managers to continue to improve sales support.
- Manage inventory.
- Manage price increases.
- Create accountability for the Sales team.
- Ensure CRM compliance.
- Organize monthly sales team meetings.
- Organize and facilitate supplier meetings and training sessions.
- Onboard and train new hires.
- 2-3 years of experience in Sales Manager role
- Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills
- Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Experience creating incentives and compensation plans.
- Ability to create and edit sales materials and presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.
- High level of proficiency with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
