The Schroeder Arthritis Institute at Toronto Western Hospital within the University Health Network UHN is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant PA to join its dynamic and collaborative clinical team.Qualifications
- At minimum a Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program or recognized equivalent.
- At minimum 3 years practical and related work experience; spine and/or orthopaedics and/or neurosurgical experience in acute care preferred.
- Must be a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant CCPA /and/ American Certified Physician Assistant PA C Must be a current member of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants CAPA Maintain certification CCPA /PA C designation by completing required CPD/CME credits Ability to perform duties in a professional courteous manner produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to UHN standards Exercise initiative good judgement ability multi task Compliance with confidentiality requirements Effective organizational interpersonal communication skills Knowledge applicable legislative UHN departmental policies Patient service oriented effectively with diversity appreciate that people different opinions backgrounds characteristics bring richness challenge situation hand Excellent time management decision making problem recognition problem solving negotiation conflict resolution skills required
