Position Description
We currently have an exciting role for a Heavy Equipment Operator in our Chiliwack, BC location. Come be a part of our rapidly expanding company.


Position Responsibilities

  • Work along side management to efficiently complete work.
  • Valid Class 3 or 1 license, with clean driver's abstract
  • Experience with loading trucks
  • Operating dozer, packer, roll off truck, semi with walking floor
  • Compaction and grading experience
  • Proficient Experience using heavy equipment such as earth movers, Finegrade experience with dozer, packer and other related equipment and attachments
  • Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property
  • Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks of equipment
  • Ensure and manage machines or equipment in a safe and secure way
  • Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws.
  • Complete daily vehicle/equipment inspections
  • Additional duties may be required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of operating experience
  • Class 3 or 1 with clean license abstract
  • Experience in landfill/waste experience is considered an asset
  • Leadership skill is an asset
