Description
Ralik, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, has an Accounting Technician role open in Blainville. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting Manager for the accounting responsibilities of two companies.

More specifically, you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle at Ralik, as well as contribute to the accounting cycle of an acquisition.

This position requires you to be on site Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Blainville, QC, with travel approximately one day a week to the acquisition located in Repentigny, QC.

Responsibilities:


  • Full accounting cycle.
  • Reconcile various bank accounts.
  • Prepare monthly tax remittances.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • AP and prepare payments.
  • Accounting entries and adjusting entries.
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries.
  • Verification and preparation of monthend and yearend documents.
  • Prepare monthly accounting audits and be a key resource person with Imperial Dade Canada.
  • Perform other related clerical tasks, such as drafting documents, record keeping, filing etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of employee payroll.
  • Prepare various Excel analyses.
  • Assist AR clerk with customer collections.
  • All other related tasks.

Qualifications:


  • College diploma in accounting or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience of full cycle accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (oral and written).
  • Thoroughness, rigor and autonomy.
  • Ability to make deadlines.
