Position Overview:

The City of Saint John is currently accepting resumes for the position of Finance Clerk in the Finance Department. This position is responsible for maintaining records for Water and Sewerage customers on metered and flat rate accounts.

Responsibilities also include acting as backup for the cashier role, preparing and issuing invoices and collecting for various civic departments.

The incumbent will respond to all inquiries regarding outstanding accounts, negotiate alternative payment plans and notify clients of pending water disconnection.


Essential Qualifications:


Please note:

It is a condition of employment with the City of Saint John to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a valid certificate of medical exemption from vaccination.
