Position Details

What You Will Do

Investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement and administration of all accident benefit claims
Handle MIG and nonMIG files up to the point of CAT
This role does not have an ADR component, although, there is opportunity to be part of mediations, arbitrations and discoveries as learning opportunities

What You Have

Minimum of 23 years claims handling experience
Wellhoned negotiation skills
Through knowledge of the legislation that governs these benefits (SABS)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
Strong organizational and time management skills coupled with strong decisionmaking skills
Post

- secondary education in a related field, and/or working towards CIP designation would be preferred
