Position Overview
The Community Services Administration Summer Student will support the Community Services Supervisor in the Long-Term Care Division.

Responsibilities:

Data entry, administrative duties, computer skills
Critically evaluate and work within the current volunteer database
Mentor new volunteers
Event planning
Confidentiality
Other duties as assigned.
Assist with implementation of the Lambton County Connects Program

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in the Social Services field or other related field at a recognized university or college.
The ability to work both independently and with a small team are required.

Summer Student positions with the County of Lambton may be dependent on funding and the funding criteria, which specifies that students must:

Be between 15 and 30 years of age
Registered as a fulltime student in the previous academic year and returning to school on a fulltime basis in the next academic year
Canadian citizens, permanent residents or have refugee protection status under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Will not have another fulltime job
