The salary range for this position is:

Recruitment range:
$67,040- $73,911
starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.


Performance range:
starting salary to max of $87,175
is available through annual performance increases.

  • Job SummaryThe Gustavson School of Business offers a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Global Business (MGB), a Master in Management (MM), and a PhD in International Management and Organization. All have an international focus embedded in their curricula and a strong experiential learning component. Scholarship and teaching at the school are strongly aligned around our areas of specializations (International Business, Entrepreneurship, Service Management, and Sustainability) and we are a leader in integrating curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level.


Reporting to the Programs Marketing and Recruitment Manager, the Undergraduate Recruitment and Education Advisor (REA) is part of the Gustavson Recruitment team and will be responsible for all recruitment activities related to the Bachelor of Commerce Program (BCom).

This position establishes and maintains relationships with key community partners in target markets including, but not limited to high school teachers and counselors, international student coordinators, and post-secondary advisors.


This position will be required to travel domestically for recruitment and to attend other appropriate events related to the BCom program.

Other requirements include occasional flexibility to work long days and some weekends; and holding a valid driver's license. Eligibility to hold a valid passport to gain entry to the United States is also a required.

  • Job RequirementsThis position requires a bachelor's degree plus minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in a postsecondary environment and/or professional program including:
  • Exercise good judgment in relation to procedures, processes, complex regulations and policies involving students, faculty and staff
  • Advising to postsecondary and high school students
  • Demonstrated public speaking and interpersonal communication skills
  • A service oriented outlook and approach to the work
  • Demonstrated technological abilities with general office software, data management, interpretation and reporting as well as analytical tools.
  • Experience analyzing, problem solving and resolving complex academic and administrative issues
  • Demonstrated thorough uptodate knowledge of domestic and international education systems
  • Other requirements include occasional flexibility to work long days, weekends and domestic and international travel
  • Eligibility to hold a valid passport and gain entry to foreign countries.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Knowledge requirements include:

  • Must have strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Vine, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how they can be deployed to connect with students
  • An understanding of business education practices and policies;
  • An understanding and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI);
