Position Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager, also known as the Sales Optimization Manager, is a key leadership role within EHN Canada, responsible for maximizing efficiency of the business development team's sales process and removing internal barriers that prevent them from achieving their goals.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development Strategy and Operations, this position plays a pivotal role in reducing the team's administrative burden and increasing selling time.


The Sales Operations Manager may also research and analyze sales data and collaborate with other departments and upper management to identify and strategize organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, manage, and evaluate the sales tools, processes, and policies to ensure continuous productivity and effectiveness
  • Create and document sales processes and tools policies to drive standardization and increase adoption
  • Perform continuous reviews of sales policies and processes to drive standardization
  • Partner with crossfunctional operations leaders to align on sales policies and processes.
  • Develop key performance metrics, dashboards, and reports that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers and results
  • Be the business development team's point of escalation for daytoday troubleshooting and administrative burden
  • Salesforce support, reporting errors, contract resolution, crafting proposals, admissions barriers, service questions, process questions, policy questions, commission questions, and any other internal barrier that negatively impacts productivity
  • Problemsolve account and territory alignment questions & Salesforce cases.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or STEM preferred
  • Experience leading a sales team preferred
  • Sales experience with a focus on consultative selling and customer relationship management.
  • Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements while also developing and implementing new strategies
  • Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments, and upper management
  • Basic knowledge and experience of the sales operations function
  • Proficient understanding of the entire sales operations function
  • Proficient with Salesforce and maintaining complex spreadsheets
  • Demonstrated passion for information and business intelligence; thorough understanding of sales processes and methodologies
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fastpaced, unpredictable environment
  • Experience in optimizing complex operations among diverse departments marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and endproduct.
  • Strong technical expertise, including CRM systems and project management
  • Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities
