We are looking for a Manager to lead our Vancouver based Investment Data Operations Team.

The Investment Data Operations (IDO) team resides within the middle office and is responsible for managing critical data processes and providing high data quality that supports the investment management business.

(CCLFG) manages a wide range of global assets and heavily relies on the output of the IDO team for a variety of functions including portfolio management, risk management, post trade analytics, and compliance.

This is a Vancouver based role, which offers flexibility between working from home and the office.

What You Will Do

Recruit, motivate, and develop staff into a high performing team that provides accurate, timely, and trusted data.
Define and be accountable for operational processes that achieve business objectives.
Provide leadership and support for data operations including handling issue escalations, operational problem solving, risk identification and mitigation, and stakeholder communications.
Take a proactive approach to ensure the reliability of data processes and data quality checks, redesigning workflows as required.
Work with business and technology teams to define and implement process improvements.
Support the Senior Manager to implement aspects of a multiyear Modern Data Platform initiative and other projects as required.
