As a Methods Technician working in the Alternative Projects Centre of Expertise (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play an integral role in coordinating construction methods.

Supporting our large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will ensure complaince, support design and development methods, while providing key technical support and insight during the proposal and estimating phases.

What you will do
Participate, with the Methods coordinators and in collaboration with the construction team, in defining the general methods to be deployed on site;
Produce site logistics and installation plans;Produce phasing plans: use cycles for temporary structures, definition of teams and equipment, and other method plans;Participate in drawing up specifications for temporary structures;Produce detailed operating plans;Ensure the quality of the documents produced and compliance with the deliverables production schedule;Maintain constant communication and collaboration with other team members;

Perform other tasks related to modeling and drawing production.

This role could be for you if you have

A college diploma in civil engineering or equivalent experience combined with relevant training;
Experience in design and/or construction (temporary structures, engineering structures or other civil engineering structures);
Experience in nonstandard structures using different types of materials is an asset;
A very good command of Autocad software;
Mastery of Civil 3D, Revit and/or Tekla is an asset;
Good technical knowledge;
An interest in new technologies and a desire to learn;
You are rigorous, with a concern for accuracy, precision and compliance with standards and norms.
