- Present analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
- Produce periodic reports, including KPIs, financial and non-financial results and analytical metrics.
- Complete Structured Query Language (SQL) database design and access
- Implement rational database models using data types, SQL query writing and stored procedures
- Examine and evaluate current business and system processes for potential areas for improvement
- Partner efforts between Finance and Information Systems to support all business operations
- Assist with development and testing of controls for internal processing
- Create new reports and ensure accuracy of data and analysis
- Any other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Financial Analysis or Public Accounting experience is required
- CPA designation (or a CPA candidate)
- Successful completion of post-secondary studies at a university level in the area of Business Administration, Computing and Financial Management would be considered an asset
- Proven ability to work using Structured Query Language (SQL) is strongly preferred
- Experience with application conversion and process re-engineering would be considered an asset
- Experience working with WMS OR TMS software would be considered an asset
- Detail-oriented, precise, and accurate
- Excellent financial analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to work effectively as a member of a team
