About the Role

What You'll Do

Provide Testing Automation leadership to the department/division
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in Testing Automation
Design, Build, customize and manage existing test automation frameworks
Manage crossfunctional testing automation assignments at enterprise level
Conduct POCs on latest test automation tools and technologies
Create test plans, test strategies and test cases based on the functional requirements
Lead Quality Analysts/ Business Analysts in drafting test cases to align with the Testing automation framework
Develop robust, scalable, and highquality test automation scripts for functional regression and performance testing
Support and maintain the existing regression suite to ensure seamless transition and ongoing testing activities
Develop and maintain test data and assist with the preparation of reports on test progress and test results.
Lead defect Management using Jira and follow up to closure
Maintain and evolve various inherited test suites
Conduct research and consult about latest market trends in the testing automation domain
Lead innovations in testing automation space with peers
Work closely with the business solutions team as the Testing Automation lead
Ensure enterprise Cybersecurity principles adherence
Lead, train and develop testing automation skills within the team for proper backup / transition
Conduct periodic Testing Automation opportunity assessment at enterprise level to develop efficiency in Testing deliverables
Lead Testing Automation analysis for any new projects and vendor engagements

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of professional automation software quality assurance experience.
Hands on knowledge of Python/ MS SQL databases
Proven professional experience in automation testing using different automation testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium WebDriver, JUnit etc.
TestComplete or Tricentis Tosca / Data Integrity are preferred
Experience in building test automation frameworks for various platforms /methodologies
Experience in Data-Driven testing, Migration testing, Blackbox testing
Experience in Manual testing methodologies
Demonstrated skills in Data query logics
Power BI testing (nice to have)
Experience in leading Testing Projects
Good Team Leadership skills
Strong Analytical and Problemsolving skills
Selfmotivated and ability to work with ambiguity
Good Organizational and time management skills
Experience in Cloud based solutions and their testing methodologies
Indepth understanding of Version controlling using Github
Strong experience in Jira defect management (admin skills are big asset)
Ability to learn systems, processes, and procedures quickly (Agile environment) and enjoys problem solving
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team in an extremely fastpaced, dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including but not limited to: problem solving, decision making, rootcause analysis, written and oral communications along with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
