    Qualification:Bachelors in science, engineering or equivalent
Experience installing and configuring a multi-tier Enterprise
SAS Solution (EBI EDM or EM)

Experience with
SAS Platform performance tuning and developing innovative
SAS architecture solutions

Experience troubleshooting and resolving
SAS Platform issues in a high-availability environment

Thorough understanding of
SAS products and how they function together in a distributed environment.

Advanced knowledge of Base
SAS SQL and the
SAS macro language (at the
SAS Certified Advanced Programmer level)


Responsibility:

Routine administration, monitoring, maintenance, and tuning of the
SAS Platform

Provide leadership and direction with respect to architecture, design, and implementation for the
SAS Platform

Design solutions to reduce the operational and management complexity of the platform and to increase reliability and performance

Design, implement, and maintain platform security through
SAS metadata and Windows OS

Manage automated job scheduling

Perform platform capacity planning

Lead efforts to provide
SAS technical and programming support to users

Collaborate with IT and database administrators to support ongoing operations
