JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Design and execute marketing research projects:
  • Develop research plans and methodologies to address specific marketing objectives and key research questions.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure research initiatives align with marketing and broader business goals.
  • Collect and analyze market data:
  • Conduct secondary research (and primary research where pragmatic) to gather relevant market data, including customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Help gather data, analyze and evaluate regional markets for potential business expansion and future opportunities.
  • Analyze and derive actionable insights
  • Analyze targeted ABM customers to derive actionable views and strategies to effectively sell into the target accounts
  • Identify and communicate trends, and opportunities based on research findings.
  • Provide strategic insights:
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that drive marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective messaging, positioning, and targeting strategies.
  • Collaborate with extended marketing team and sales organization towards developing targeted ABM strategies
  • Collaborate with Hansen strategy team to align on market trends and customer needs
  • Present insights in clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities within our industry verticals
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to the marketing team on market dynamics and potential areas of growth.
  • Manage research vendors and relationships:
  • Leverage and where appropriate engage with external vendors such as Gartner to extract market research data and initiate inquiries.
  • Where appropriate, engage with third party research vendors to conduct primary research
  • Team collaboration and leadership:
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, such as product management, sales, and corporate strategy to align research efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the marketing research team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing research, customer insights, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing research methodologies, data analysis, and visualization techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for understanding trends and market behavior.
