We at One Community Solutions provide a unique service which involves working with the vulnerable population currently made up of individuals who are battling homelessness, drug addictions and mental health.

We build understanding and respect with the clients and staff to help create safe environments in and out of the shelters.


Our CST's (Community Safety Team) work 24 hours a day doing patrols in neighborhoods, cleaning up drug paraphernalia and also keeping watch at local schools (from daycares to high schools) to ensure the continued safety of children, teens and pets in the area.

Essential Duties for this position are as follows;Monitor supervisors and staff with conducting best operational practices to ensure efficient and effective work quality across all work-sites
Conduct internal tests and audits to ensure staff and supervisors are knowledgeable with best operational practicesIdentify and relay performance metrics along with other issues to the senior management team
Conduct Health & Safety audits as necessarySupport process and service improvement initiatives
Address absenteeism, tardiness, behavioural and ethical issues among the staff and supervisorsCommunicate updates and important information with teams
Lead the Community Safety Teams by example with supervision and education pertaining to the day-to-day responsibilities of a Community Safety Team PartnerAssist with administrative tasks and other tasks as assigned**
Qualifications for this position include;Internal Auditor Certification considered an asset
Ability to travel to perform field work and attend educational meetingsExperience in creating clear and concise documents for educational purposes
Experience working in a security or a community service environment is an assetLeadership experience is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and customer service skills which includes, but isn't limited to, conflict resolution, decision making, situational assessments and problem solving
Valid Security Guard License is considered an assetValid certificate in Standard First Aid and CPR level 'C' are considered an asset
Knowledge of legislative policies such as the _Criminal Code_
, _Trespass to Property Act_
and _WHMIS_
are considered an assetAbility to work shifts, weekends and holidays
