An exciting Temporary, Part-Time opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to work as an Animal Services Shelter Attendant in the By-law and Compliance Department.The City of Vaughan is committed to fostering a dynamic workplace that is diverse, inclusive and welcoming.
This role involves performing various duties associated with the humane care of animals and maintenance of the Animal Shelter. Responsibilities include keeping the animal facility clean and sanitized, animal care and husbandry, grooming, encouraging adoptions, reuniting owners with lost animals, client service,
- Veterinary Assistant or Animal Care Certificate.
- Minimum two (2) years animal husbandry experience in an animal shelter or veterinary clinic.
