Job Overview:


The purpose of the Tenant Relations Liaison (TRL) is organizing and supporting ongoing activities and correspondence to ensure a good working relationship between the tenants and MQHS.

This is accomplished through ensuring all tenants are living in compliance with operating agreements and Residential Tenancy Act.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversees the onboarding process starting with reference checking and ending in the completion of all paperwork.
  • Ensures that tenants are properly welcomed into the buildings, representing MQHS in all interactions.
  • Offboards tenants in a quick and efficient manner. Ensures all documentation is properly completed and disseminated to internal parties.
  • Communicates lease breaches with tenants in a timely and compliant manner. (Verbal warnings, posted warnings, written templated letters etc.).
  • Partners and assists the Maintenance team in unit visitation, the annual inspection process, and other problemsolving activities.
  • Performs regular probation inspections on a rotating basis.
  • Assists with regular administration and document collection. Inputs data into Arcori in a timely manner.
  • Attends and participates in regular departmental and organizational meetings.
  • Demonstrates behaviour that is consistent with respectful workplace policy and encourages positive team culture.
  • Investigates tenant incident in a compliant and timely manner, seeking respectful and fair outcomes.
  • Works in collaboration with the Tenant Services Finance Administrator to execute the eviction and arbitration process.
  • Maintains strong lines of communication with tenants, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
  • Develops systems and process to ensure the Tenant Relations Department is running efficiently as it relates to compliance with operating agreements and leases.

  • Ability to travel within region (drivers license and car)
  • Working knowledge of the RTA
  • Strong technical acumen

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients.

Work Week

  • Monday
  • Friday 35 hours per week
  • Alternate Flex Friday's
  • This position requires some flexibility regarding hours, as some work may occur after normal working hours. Time accrued after business hours will be paid out via "timeoff in lieu."
