We specialize in quality meats, homemade style foods, and customer service.


At Nortown Foods we are always looking for people who are passionate about their craft and who love interacting with people.

We are currently searching for a
Grocery Clerk for our Forest Hill location.


As a grocery clerk your role will include maintaining attractive grocery displays by keeping shelves well stocked and ordering products.


Duties

  • Merchandise grocery products and maintain fully stocked shelves.
  • Order and maintain grocery products inventory.
  • Receive grocery deliveries and ensure shipments are correct.

Requirements:


  • Previous stock clerk and/or customer service experience.
  • Experience in ordering products
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team; ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends according to the needs of the business
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- stock clerk: 2 years (preferred)


Language:


  • English (preferred)
