**Description: - Permanent Full Time- We are looking for an
Administrative Assistant.

  • The Administrative Assistant is responsible for telephone reception and administrative duties for the Disability Management Services Office (DMSO).
    What you will do
  • Paying Invoice, manage incoming phone call inquiries received on the department tollfree line.
  • Open, sort and prepare incoming mail.
  • Scan mail into the document imaging system and set tasks for team members to review and handle the mail.
  • Create and mail correspondence to employees, clients, and service providers.
  • Maintain employee and client information in Canada Life systems, including entering or updating banking information, updating employee and client contact information, and entering invoice data for payment.
  • Investigate mail that has been returned to sender and resend the mail as appropriate.
  • Manage the distribution of files requested from the Records Centre
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

What you will bring

  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong keyboarding (50 wpm) and data entry skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Well developed organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Welldeveloped problemsolving skills.
  • The base salary for this position is between
    $33,400*:
  • $45,100** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
